Best place to start

The cleanest reading order is the simplest one: start at Part 1 and move forward. The later entries rely on earlier emotional and symbolic foundations, so jumping randomly gives you fragments instead of structure.

This matters especially because the project is less like a normal chaptered novel and more like a chain of conceptual parables. Small ideas introduced early become much heavier later.

How the archive labels work

Most archive entries map to a single numbered part, but a few are merged. Part 4 & 5 and Part 10 & 11 are presented as combined archive entries, so the total archive entry count is lower than the headline chapter count.

That is why the site shows 44 chapters but 42 entries. Nothing is missing. It is simply an archive design choice.
